Healthy Habits - Healthy Bodies

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31 )

Eating Watermelon

We provide a healthy, well-balanced, allergy-friendly lunch every day.

At each meal we pray and give thanks, each child is given the opportunity to pray but prayer is not required for the child to participate in.

Each child will set their own placemats and wash their hands before sitting to eat.

Each child will self-serve their food, getting as much as they think their bodies can eat. We recommend trying each food but they are not forced to eat anything they do not want to. The staff and children sit together as a family to enjoy their meal.

Conversations during mealtime are about the food they are eating, how it helps their bodies, and what the items do for their bodies. Allowing the children to understand health and nutrition, and bringing awareness of their bodies.

Our staff practices food safety in preparation, we take careful consideration and modifications of food preferences and allergies to ensure all the children are safe and healthy.

Health standards are from pediatric recommended dietary recommendations for children of this age range. We offer a well-balanced, nutritious, and healthy menu.
